Big Ben’s younger brother
The Salisbury Infirmary bell has been recently rediscovered in a storeroom at Salisbury District Hospital. Markings on the bell show it was cast by J Warner & Sons London in 1885. J Warner & Sons were responsible for the casting of some notable bells, including the chime at the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben in 1856.
