2020 marked an important year in healthcare and was designated by the World Health Organisation as International Year of the Nurse and Midwife. The year coincided with the 200th anniversary of the birth of Florence Nightingale, who had strong links with the Salisbury area. As part of the celebrations, Salisbury District Hospital honoured their nursing staff in very special ways, and ArtCare supported them with a programme of special events and activities, which were adapted to following the restrictions in place due to the coronavirus pandemic.
