'Infirmary supported by voluntary contribution' inscription

Infirmary Inscription family history

My 5x great grandfather (on my mother’s side of the family) William Macy was a stonemason and was the person employed to carve the inscription  on the front of the hospital.  He lived and worked in the Cathedral Close in part of the King’s House complex.  He also worked on the Cathedral, and at Arundells in the Close as well as Longford Castle.
