A royal opening
On 27th June 1984, the Spinal Injury Unit at Salisbury District Hospital was officially opened by HRH Prince and Princess of Wales. Diana, Princess of Wales is pregnant with Harry at the time. They visit the gym, hydrotherapy pool and meet patients and staff on the unit. This short video of images taken from our collection highlights the special day.
