80th Anniversary VE Day

To commemorate the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day, (VE Day) the formal ending of WW2 on 8th May 1945, we will be displaying along the corridors stories from the hospital’s origins.  Find out more about the US field hospital on this site, medical treatments of the time, staff and what happened next to the US soldiers after the war.

Look out for our exhibition panels on level 4 main opposite Sarum playdeck from 8th May onwards.
